NFL SAYS NO TO PROMOTING OBAMACARE

On Monday Kathleen Sebelius claimed she was in discussion with the NFL to promote ObamaCare and individual plans. She expected them both to make free “Public Service” announcements and wanted the Department of HHS to spend millions on commercials during NFL games. She claimed that the NFL was “Very actively and enthusiastically engaged” in the discussion.

This lead to the outrage of our own leader, The American Refugee, as well as Republican congressmen, Senators, and millions of Americans. In an interview,The American Refuugee said:

           

“Blow up the NFL’s phone. Don’t just tell them no, but hell no.

            Most NFL fans want this law repealed. American’s don’t want

            watching football with the family ruined by controversial ads for

            unpopular government programs. Particularly not one that violates

            our basic human rights. “We have to be prepared to boycott the

            NFL on this and we have to tell them so.”

On Friday, not only did the NFL say that would not be promoting ObamaCare, they practically accused Sebelius of being a liar.

            “we have responded to letters we have received…..we have no plans

              to engage in this area… We have no substantive contact with the

             administration”

This is clearly a time when conservative football fans flooded the NFL with calls and e-mails and even Republican member’s of congress stepped up to the plate.  The NFL has gotten the message. Today, we asked The American Refugee about these developments. This is his quote.

            “Hey Kathleen Sebelius, can you hear us now? I want to thank all the

            Great Americans, who stepped up and put pressure on the NFL. I can’t

            take credit for this, but clearly our video, tweets, and calls were a part

            of what raised awareness and helped put pressure on the NFL. The

            people are powerful when they speak.  Now we need to keep speaking.

            Call the NFL and thank them for doing the right thing. Get ready to

            enjoy a great season. Now let’s take things to the next level and refuse

            to comply with ObamaCare.”
